Mike Hess Brewing Company has two locations, with the original location being just off Miramar Road. I took a trip over to the North Park location on a Saturday and watched a couple of college football games with a few friends. The first thing you experience as you go in is the catwalk entrance which takes you over the brewing facility and then opens up to an absolutely outrageous atmosphere of goodness. It’s a pretty amazing idea! You have a food truck due north, huge, crystal-clear flat screen TVs on two walls and the headquarters at 11 ‘o clock, which is perfect because kick-off is at noon!

JUCUNDUS

ORANGE HONEY WHEAT

Conjure up a warm, sunny day with this crisp, light bodied American wheat beer, brewed with 2.2 pounds per barrel of 100% U.S.A. orange blossom honey and California orange peel. Masterfully combining 2-row and other malts, along with new hops or unique hop combinations, Solis allows us to keep our creative juices flowing and your mouth watering.

UMBRIX (FORMERLY EX UMBRIS)

RYE IMPERIAL STOUT

Formerly Ex Umbris, Umbrix is rich, deep, and intensely complex. The roasted malts give this ale flavors of coffee, chocolate and toffee, while the rye malt and generous hopping rate result in light spiciness . Always smooth, always creamy, always great. Seven different malts, three American kettle-hop additions.
