Intergalactic Brewing Company isn’t literally out-of-this-world. It’s located just west of the 15 about a mile north of Miramar Rd.

We entered from the back through the garage and it reminded me of my high school buddy’s room. His parents had turned the garage into a man cave and he added his Sci-Fi Swag all over the walls. In fact, if you look at the pictures, he had those exact posters hanging over his weight set. Needless to say, it was a very cool first impression.

This tasting room is small, but there’s enough space to hang out at the bar or sit at one of the tables. There’s also a large screen TV for viewing flicks. The staff really knew their beer and it was super tasty to boot! A really COOL CRAFT BEER JOINT! Nanoo Nanoo…

Andromeda IPA

American IPA

6.80% AVB 70 IBUs

Aggressively Hopped with Chinook, Mosaic and Cascade. This American Version of a classic British brew offers a citrus and floral hop profile with slightly sweet malt finish.

Orion’s Stout

Oatmeal Stout

5.80% ABV 25 IBUs

Full bodied and full flavored Oatmeal Stout. This beer has plenty of coffee and chocolate flavors to satisfy any stout drinker, yet comes in at a more session-able rate of 5.8% Alcohol so you can enjoy a pint, or two.

Space Oasis Coconut Porter

Robust Porter

6.9% ABV

A robust porter with great malty and chocolate notes that is then copiously “dry coconut.” With about 6 lbs per barrel of freshly toasted coconut, this brew reminds us of a certain chocolate covered coconut candy. Available on tap at the tasting room only. This beer needs to be consumed fresh and goes quickly. SILVER MEDAL 2014 LA International Beer Competition.
