Hoboken Pizza & Beer Joint, on Garnet Ave in the heart of Pacific Beach, is another classic #goodeats Pizza and Beer Joints. I’ve been visiting Hoboken for over ten years and whether it’s for dinner or for a late night slice after a wonderful evening of bar hopping in P.B., Hoboken is always waiting for you with open arms. Sometimes it’s just a little too convenient and has led to an extra day in the gym, if you know what I mean. But well worth it!

Not only is Hoboken Certified Good Eats but Top Cali Craft Beer too! Pizza is a must with craft beer right? Well, maybe it’s the other way around, nevertheless … you get my point. I recommend either the deep dish or the thin crust. Both are awesome options. I usually order the thin crust Pepperoni, Meatball, Mushroom Pizza with Jalapeños or The Hot Maggie Pizza a hot and spicy dish made with Hoboken’s special red wine sauce, fresh garlic, green peppers, a pinch of oregano, and topped with Parmesan and mozzarella cheese.

I know that toppings and the crust are best decided by personal tastes, but I’m sure you won’t go wrong if you follow my recommendations. My mouth is watering as I write this! Guess it’s a good time to head over to Hoboken’s for a couple of slices and a cold and local craft beer!
