NO.

Growing up in San Diego we have heard the term used to describe the downtown skyline; Among the buildings you will find an Allen wrench, Phillips Head and Flathead screwdrivers and a chisel to name a few. What better way to pay tribute to our hometown than to incorporate it in our name and logo. And with San Diego having such a rich industrial and military history, again, the name just made sense.

IT’S IN OUR BLOOD
Both our grandfathers not only served in the military but helped build the airplanes used. One designed jet engines on North Island and the other built those engines. For their part of history, alongside many others like them, Toolbox is born.
