Butcher’s Brewing was born out of a love for good beer and good meat. A natural progression and exploration in fermentation, it was the vision of former Knight Salumi Company founder and owner, Rey Knight. An avid home brewer, Rey held many experiments with beer yeasts and bacteria in salami and meat curing, and now he’s unleashing his passion for brewing onto the Southern California craft beer scene.

Butcher’s Brewing has it’s brewery and tasting room in Santee, California.

Free Range

IPA

Summer nights call for something special to wind down a long day. What better than our seasonal IPA? Heaps of Nelson Sauvin Hops brewed in this IPA waft a sweet aroma upon opening the bottle. A crisp, medium body hits notes of toasted malts and rye, riding out to a bittersweet finish. After finishing a glass, we feel a sense of satisfaction after a day of hard work. We’d love to share the feeling with you.

Here at Butcher’s, we sometimes have to step aside and showcase one ingredient. In this beer, the yeast is the star of the show. A solid, cracker-like wheat foundation lays the groundwork for layers of banana, clove, bubblegum, and plum notes to shine through. Crack open a bottle and enjoy a spectacular performance of this lightly hazed masterpiece.

If breakfast is the most important meal of the day, start off the day right with this smooth and silky-textured stout. Hints of sweetness are finished off by a hearty addition of roasted barley, lending a rich espresso flavor. This stout truly is the breakfast of champions, all in one glass.
