Blue Water Seafood Market & Grill is located right off the 5 on India St. near downtown San Diego. The food served here is what inspired us to start our Good Eats adventure.

Walk into The Blue Water Grill and make your way to the seafood market section where you can order delicious fish and seafood to take home or to eat on the spot.

The way the market is set-up is really cool. Choose the type of fish you’d like from the long list, then the type of marinade, and finally how you would like it to be prepared: as a sandwich, salad, plate, tacos or a la carte. Pretty simple, but at the same time it provides so many options and different ways to tempt your palate!

If fish tacos are what you’re craving while visiting San Diego, then look no further as those served in the Blue Water Seafood Market rank among the best, if not THE best, fish tacos that San Diego has to offer. Perhaps fried shrimp is more your style? They serve the finest fried shrimp I’ve ever tasted in Southern California. Fresh is an understatement. Everything you find here is incredible. Be prepared to wait in line though, as this place is no longer the hidden secret it once was.
